De ODNI AIM-strategie (DNI-voorwoord) stelt dat data-generatie en -collectie exponentieel groeien terwijl de IC-workforce die all-source, cross-domain data moet analyseren dat niet doet — AI, automation en augmentation moeten die workforce versterken voor missiecapaciteit en data-interpretatie aan besluitvormers.

The pace at which data are generated and collected is increasing exponentially—and the IC workforce available to analyze and interpret this all-source, cross-domain data is not. Leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and augmentation technologies to amplify the effectiveness of our workforce will advance mission capability and enhance the IC’s ability to provide needed data interpretation to decision makers.»
