Wearables

FDA De Novo: Apple Watch ECG-app herkent AFib of sinusritme

«The ECG app is a software-only mobile medical application intended for use with the Apple Watch to create, record, store, transfer, and display a single channel electrocardiogram (ECG) similar to a Lead I ECG. The ECG app determines the presence of atrial fibrillation (AFib) or sinus rhythm on a classifiable waveform. The ECG app is not recommended for users with other known arrhythmias.»

«Dexcom Share is a feature within the Dexcom G7 app that allows for remote monitoring. One person (the Sharer) may share their CGM data with up to 10 designated individuals (the Followers).»

«Embodiments/aspects described herein generally relate to a wearable electronic device for measuring biosignals of a user. The device may have more electrodes than are necessary to measure the biosignals for a given user, and the device may dynamically select a subset of the electrodes for measuring the biosignals for a given user at a given time. The device may dynamically select different subsets of the electrodes for measuring the biosignals for different users or at different times (e.g., depending on parameters of the user, how the device is being worn, ambient affects, etc.). In some cases, the embodiments/aspects described herein pertain to an earbud and/or a headset.»

Meta-grant: neuromusculaire input via wearable polsband

«The disclosed computer-implemented method may include presenting, via a user interface, a sensory cue, and receiving, from neuromuscular sensors of a wearable device, various neuromuscular signals generated by a user wearing the wearable device, where the user generates the neuromuscular signals in response to the sensory cue being presented to the user via the user interface. The method may also include interpreting the received neuromuscular signals as input commands with respect to the sensory cue provided by the user interface, such that the input commands initiate performance of specified tasks within the user interface. The method may also include performing the specified tasks within the user interface according to the interpreted input commands.»

«It's there because that doesn't have a cloud connection. And if you're wise, you make sure it never does, because the questions I'm going to ask you or you're going to ask yourself, and you're going to answer in your own voice, is going to be able to do something very profound for you. Number one, it is going to record your voice and your contemporaneous reaction to it.»
